3 QUICK NEWS BITS ⏲️
Revving Through History: Orlando's Silver Screen Auto Extravaganza

Orlando's Auto Museum at Dezerland Park is a four-wheeled wonderland, housing 2,000 cars spanning cinematic and cultural history.

Operations manager Jonnattan Morales guides visitors through 17 exhibits, from the whimsical Scooby Doo Mystery Machine to a 1914 Ford coupe. The James Bond collection steals the show, featuring a $41 million car from "You Only Live Twice."

VIP tours offer hands-on experiences with iconic movie vehicles. Billionaire Michael Dezer, the collection's owner, visits weekly.

Open daily, the museum charges $31.90 for adults, with discounts for children and seniors.

Beyond a mere display, it's a journey through automotive evolution and pop culture, inviting visitors to discover their inner secret agent or ghostbuster amidst this metal menagerie of human ingenuity.

From Farm to School: The Soaring Success of Fly Beyond

"Nourishing Minds, Growing Futures" is taking flight in Central Florida. The Fly Beyond program, which brought farmers' market-style fresh produce to over 50,000 students last year, is expanding.

A $475,000 Wawa grant will add five schools, totaling 40 in the region. Wawa Foundation's Elizabeth Simeone emphasizes the program's role in fighting hunger and reducing stigma.

With one in six local children at risk of hunger, Second Harvest's Briana Rebello sees potential to reach up to 2,000 students per school.

Born from a $1 million Wawa grant in 2023, Fly Beyond's growth is crucial as COVID-19 aftermath and inflation push more families into food insecurity.

This innovative initiative isn't just filling plates—it's cultivating health and hope for generations to come. Check out these “Fly Beyond” food carts.
